Georg Andreas Sorge, Zeuch ein zu deinen Toren
Sorge’s prelude to “Zeuch ein zu deinen Toren” is in his by now familiar style of trio like introduction, and trio like treatment of the chorale melody. The introduction features twice the first phrase of the chorale melody. All melody notes are in the right spot, just with a lot of other notes in between. You have to know the chorale melody well to hear it. Otherwise you have to download the score to see it.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Van Dam organ (1832) in Tholen by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.
