One of the few surviving works of Johann Heuschkell. It has the familiar form of a fugue on the first phrase of the chorale melody. Though relatively simple, the quality is undeniable, and makes one wish more works of Heusschkel would have survived in manuscripts somewhere.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Bader-organ in the Walburgiskerk in Zutphen by Sonus Paradisi for Hauptwerk.
