Besides Johann Michael Bach and Johann Sebastian Bach, the Neumeister manuscript features some works by Zachow. These were already known from other manuscripts, so they were not as much a suprprise as the works by the two Bach family members.
Zachow’s prelude to “Gelobet seist du Jesu Christ” is a manualiter three part piece with the choral melody in the soprano voice.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Bader-organ in the Walburgiskerk in Zutphen by Sonus Paradisi for Hauptwerk.
