Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow, Herr Gott dich loben wir (LV 4)
In the manuscript source this choral prelude is notated on just two staves. Nevertheless, I can’t help the feeling that it is perhaps meant as a pedaliter piece. It certainly works well as such. To be on the safe side I created both a pedaliter and a mnualiter version of this composition. So that anyone can choose which he or she likes best.
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Hinsz organ in the Reformed church in the Midwolda

Lovely! I appreciate that it wasn’t at all hurried, so I could savor the beautiful lines. Thank you. 😊
Glad you liked it. Thanks for letting me know 🙂
Thank you for the work you put into this website. It is a great source of inspiration for new pieces to learn.
PS – I have tried to download several PDFs but get a website “403 Forbidden” error when I try to do so.
You’re welcome, I’m glad you like my work.
Do you have some examples of PDF’s that won’t download? A reason could be, that downloading only works when you click the link ion the post. Copying the link and opening it in another tab or browser won’t work.
I get the 403 error when I click on the PDF link or copy it to another tab. For example the two links above will not open for me. On one PC I get the 403 error with all PDFs from your site in Firefox, Edge or IE. On another PC the PDFs will open only in Edge but not in Firefox or IE.
Sadly, I can’t reproduce your error. I’ve tried several computer and mobile devices, both inside and outside the network the web server is located in, and they all download the pdf’s fine. So, I’m not sure what goes wrong on your side. Perhaps your browsers are configured to open pdf’s in a new tab?
