Georg Andreas Sorge, Wir glauben all’ an einen Gott, alio modo (Emans 194)
Sorge’s second prelude to “Wit glauben all’ an einen Gott” is more an intonation than a full prelude. It is relatively short and mostly in only three part writing. Ideal to keep me busy when my right leg wasn’t able to join the organ playing fun. Since Reinmar Emans thought (around 1997) that this piece could possibly have been written by Johann Sebastian Bach he included it in his list, and therefore the piece has an Emans-number: 194
The recording was done on the sample set of the Van Dam organ (1832) in Tholen by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.
