Heinrich Henkel, Trio für Orgel
Heinrich Henkel (16 February 1822 – 10 April 1899) was a German composer who studied with Johann Anton André at Offenbach am Main. Later in live he helped found the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt. Although he wrote numerous works, both instrumental and vocal, not much is in print nowadays.
This Trio für Orgel is transcribed from a manuscript (Mus.ms.autogr. Henkel, H. 1 M) owned by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – PK
The recording was done on the sample set of the Van Dam organ (1832) in Tholen by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.
