Johann Christian Kittel, Fuga a 3 Voce, g moll
Kittel’s fifth fugue is a three voice fugue with a chromatic theme. The the appears some 13 times in just 48 bars, two times in a row in one voice and once in stretto. The counter voices are often chromatic as well, leading to a piece that touches all physical keys in two and a half octaves. All in all quite colourful.
The recording was done with the sampleset of the Onderhorst Kabinetorgel in Bennekom. I did not use the extension, so it could be played like this on the real organ.
