Johann Michael Bach, Gelobet seist du Jesu Christ (BWV 723)
Who is the author of this piece? Bach or Bach? It was considered to be composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, and as such it has a BWV-number. The Neumeister manuscript however ascribes this piece to Johann Michael Bach. Since I’m transcribing the Neumeister manuscript, I follow it’s ascription. Whoever wrote it, it is a beautiful piece.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Müller-organ in the Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.
