Johann Michael Bach, Von Gott will ich nicht lassen

This piece appears not only in Neumeister’s manuscript, but is present in Mus. Ms. 30439 as well. I published the version from that last source two years ago and it is (of course) present in the Edition based on that manuscript. The version in Neumeister’s manuscript differs is several little details from the version in Mus Ms 30439. And it’s a nice reason to play this piece again. In both versions it is a very well written three part choral prelude.

The recording was done with the sample set of the Silbermann organ of the Stadtkirche Zöblitz by Prospectum.
