Johann Philipp Kirnberger, Trio über “Ich dank dir schon”
Almost 9 months ago I started a series of choral preludes by Johann Philipp Kirnberger, contained in Manuscript Am. 386, owned by the Staatsbibliothek Berlin. I published all works contained in that manuscript, except one: the Trio on “Ich dank dir schon”. So, it’s about time to publish it. The Trio on “Ich dank dir schon” (the title in manuscript Am B 396) was published also by J.C. Kuhnau as a prelude on “Ach Gott und Herr”. It is a beautiful organ trio, with the choral melody in the middle voice.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Müller-organ in the Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.

The file name is Kirnberger-Ich-dank-dir-schon-non-alto.pdf but the score contains an alto clef. Is a non-alto clef version available? I appreciate the fine quality of the website and arrangements, and enjoy the commentary as well.
Yes, of course, the non-alto version is available. I recently uploaded new versions of the scores and obviously made a copy and paste error with this score. The alto version has no real added benefit, so it should be the non-alto version. Corrected now!
