Josef Ferdinand Norbert Seger, Præambulum (L 5)
The prelude in C major, L 5, is a bit intruiging. The first two bars are identiacal to the beginning of the prelude in C major, L 16a, from the same manuscript. After those two bar, both compositions follow their own, completely seperate ways. L 5 is a jolly affair, with lots of rapid notes for the left hand, while L 16a is more dignified and moves in a more stately rythm.
I find it intruiging that Seger creates two such very different pieces from one and the same musical idea. For no you have to take my word for it. Today I publish L5 and L16a is a bit further down the line, probably somewhere in the first months of 2023.
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Klapmeyer organ in the St. Nikolai church in Altenbruch (https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/germany/klapmeyer-organ-altenbruch.html).

Super!!!! Vielen dank! L4 sie haben vergessen?
No, I made a little mistake in planning my publications: yesterday’s publication should have been L4 and L5 should have been scheduled for next week. I’ll change the publication order and publish L 4 right away (the youtube video is already up…)
