Now that I am mainly busy with the rehabilitation of my left hand and perhaps even some playing with my left foot, it is a good time to publish these pieces. Hopefully somewhere in april I can start making new recordings of compositions that include pedal playing. The first of this series is Zachow’s prelude to “An Wasserflüssen Babylon”, LV 2. It is a well written fugue on the first phrase of the choral melody. Only 24 bars of music and the theme appear 12 times. Try to spot them all without looking in the score. The recording was done with the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the the Klapmeyer organ in the St. Nikolai church in Altenbruch.
