The second half of this volume is a section called &#8220;Pi\u00e8ces Fun\u00e8bres&#8221;, pieces intended to be used during funeral services. This Memento is almost the last one of the Grosjean compositions I intend to publish. Though it is one of the shortest compositions in the original Edition, it is also, in my opinion one of the most beautiful. With simple means Grosjean creates an atmosphere of longing and intense sadness. The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Voxus, of the Stahlhuth\/Jahn organ in the St. Martin\u2019s church, Dudelange.
