Sorge’s first professional appointment was at the age of 19 as court and town organist at Lobenstein, a position that he maintained until his death. Though Sorge is mostly remembered as theorist, he was also a prolific composer. His 12 Trios for organ are sitll used in organ playing education. The S\u00e4chsische und Landesbibliothek Dresden owns a manuscript with several choral preludes by Sorge. The prelude to “Gottes Sohn ist kommen” the first of these. Written in trio style features accompaniment in the lower two voices for the choral melody in the upper voice. The recording was done on the sample set of the Mascioni of the parisch church in Azzio, made by Piotr Gabrowsky. Score Sorge, Gottes Sohn ist kommen Performance"}
