The composition follows the harmonic outline of the chorale melody, though here and there fragments of the melody itself are discernable. In the middle of the composition Oley writes rather extreme hand crossings, where thee right hand goes to the left part of the manual and the left hand goes all the way up to c3. A bit umcomfortable to play, but a nice effect anyway. The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set of the Holzey organ of St. Peter and Paul in Weissenau by Prospectum (https:\/\/www.prospectum.com\/index.php?language=english&#038;id1=2&#038;id2=9).
