Ms. 30377, owned by the Staatsbibliothek Berlin, contains four Prelude & Fugues by Johann Schneider. In the manuscript they are called just ‘Praeludium’, but since the fugue-part of the pieces is very prominent, I decided to include it in the title. The recording was done on the sample set of the M\u00fcller-organ in the Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk. The registration uses the Bovenwerk coupled to the Rugwerk. It was only after the recording that I noticed that coupler is not present on the real organ. It is however possible to couple both manuals to the Hoofdwerk and to the Pedal division. So, it could sound like this on the real organ, though I doubt anyone would do it like this in the real world.
