That melody was used for other chorals as well, and in this case Marpurg uses the title of one of those other chorals, &#8220;Befiehl du deine Wege&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Marpurg places the choral melody in canon in the right hand and lets the hand provide an accompaniment in eigth notes. A simple procedure with which Marpurg nevertheless creates a moving piece.
