This choral prelude is the second of two preludes on this melody by Oley, found in Ms 30190. It is for full organ and contains some tricky trills in the pedal part. The character of the piece is totally different from the other prelude<\/a>. It’s anyone’s guess which verse Oley had in mind when writing these two different pieces. <\/p>\n

The recording was done the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradis, of the Transept organ in the Laurenskerk, Rotterdam<\/a>.<\/p>\n
