Oley writes a manualiter piece with the choral melody in canon between the soprano and the tenor voice. The canon is very strictly maintained, even where harmonically it doesn&#8217;t fit very nicely. However, with a forte registration, the overal effect is quite nice. I play the end a bit differently than Oley wrote it. Where Oley write one small chord in the upper region, I thought it better to close the piece with a full chord and play some bassnotes as well.
