That turns out not to be true. Manuscript Mus U 298, owned by the Stadtbibliothek L\u00fcbeck, contains a prelude on the melody of &#8220;Allein Gott in der H\u00f6h sei Ehr&#8221;,  of which the composer is given with the initials &#8220;H. M. K.&#8221;. Those initials possibly\/probably\/likely mean the composer is Heinrich Michael Keller. <\/p>\n<p>It is a lively piece, with the chorale melody in the soprano voice, while the other two voices play an accompaniment, based on motives from the chorale melody.
