Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer (1656 \u2013 1746) was a German Baroque composer. Not much is known about him. Most of his works did not survive. One of the works that did survive is a ricercare on the first phrase of the choral Christ ist er standen. It can be found in manuscript Mus.ms. 22541 III owned by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin<\/p>\n

The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sample set of the Mascioni organ of the parish church in Azzio, made by Piotr Gabrowsky.<\/p>\n
