Kauffmann&#8217;s widow included it in the publication after Kauffmann&#8217;s death. It is very much like some of the chorale preludes by Johann Michael Bach and Johann Pachelbell. Solemn in character, with craftmanshiplike voice leading, it features the chorale melody in the bass voice. There is no registration prescription, so it is a bit of a guess whether he meant it as a manualiter piece or not.
