This chorale prelude is also known as “Ricercar pro Festis Pentecostalibus”. The manuscript I based this edition on (Mus.ms. 30196 owned by the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin) seems to contain some errors (missing voices or just scarcely indicated, some wrong voice leading or erroneous harmonies). I have no printed edition to compare my result with. Besides, by doing so I would probably infringe some copyright law. So I stay as close to the manuscript as possible, but I did correct the errors as I see fit.<\/p>\n

The recording was done with the sample set of the Mascioni organ of the parish church in Azzio, made by Piotr Gabrowsky.<\/p>\n
