The first volume contains 33 easy pieces, that can be played without the use of pedals. The second half of this volume is a section called &#8220;Pi\u00e8ces Fun\u00e8bres&#8221;, pieces intended to be used during funeral services. This Entr\u00e9e is from that section. As with most pieces in Grosjean&#8217;s &#8220;Pi\u00e8ces pour orgue ou harmonium&#8221; it is a melodious work in a simple three part form (A &#8211; B &#8211; A).
