Christian Heinrich Rinck, Trio A dur, op. 20 nr 19
Rinck’s opus 20 is a nice set of Trio’s. They are overall not too difficult, but nonetheless very nice to play and to listen to. They were meant to be used in teaching organ playing and as such there are 24 trio’s, using all major and minor keys. The A major one, posted here today, is a fine example of the qualities of this set of trio’s: elegant, interesting, but not too much trouble. The score was typeset by Benjamin Intartaglia.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Holzey organ of St. Peter and Paul in Weissenau by Prospectum.
