Christian Heinrich Rinck, Trio F dur, op. 20 nr 11
Rinck’s opus 20 is a nice set of Trio’s. They are overall not too difficult, but nonetheless very nice to play and to listen to. They were meant to be used in teaching organ playing and as such there are 24 trio’s, using all major and minor keys. The F major one, is short and more homophone than contrapuntal. The registration is a bit of an experiment, based on 16′ for the hands and 32′ for the feet. The score was typeset by Benjamin Intartaglia.
The recording was done on the sample set of the Müller-organ in the Sint Bavokerk in Haarlem by Voxus Organs for Hauptwerk.
