Friedrich Christian Samuel Mohrheim, Trio 7 in g moll (“Jesu der du meine Seele”)

This last Trio by Mohrheim is, just like the preceding two, more a chorale prelude than a real Trio. This one is based on the melody of the chorale “Jesu, der du meine Seele”. No more Trio’s by Mohrheim to look forward to, alas.

The first recording was done with the sampleset, made by Organ Art Media, of the Arp Schnitger organ in Steinkirchen. The second with the demo of the sample set, made by Sonus Paradisi of the Sonnenorgel in Görlitz.
